Description

Westerwood Global is currently recruiting Equipment Maintenance Technician (PAT Testing) based on our client’s site in the Leixlip area. These roles are contract roles with the view to being offered a permanent position.

Requirements

  • Perform PAT testing in all cleanroom areas within a timely manner
  • Coordinate activities on equipment with colleagues, clients and other vendors
  • Clear communications with colleagues and clients are an essential part of the daily routine of a very busy, hands on, multi-tasking environment.
  • Complete reports on daily, weekly and monthly basis
  • Develop and maintain excellent working relationships with the customer and Westerwood Global Management & staff and co-ordinate and participate in site meetings between the business teams and customer.
  • Ability to understand customer’s quality requirement process and be responsible for customer satisfaction whilst working in a competitive team and adhering to customer protocols.
  • Manage & report on internal and external KPI’s and headcount, formulate corrective actions plans and drive the success of business area.
  • Flexibility in working hours and an ability to undertake any projects as requested

SUITABLE CANDIDATES WILL HAVE:

  • Electrical qualification desirable but not essential
  • A technical qualification (NFQ Level 6) desirable but not essential
  • A track record in a Manufacturing role within a high-volume fast paced, quality focused environment.
  • Attention to detail is essential regarding both technical and administration tasks.
  • Responsibility for the safe working environment of yourself and your subordinates.
  • An ability to be successful in a customer facing role, react to changes in production priorities and manage team goals/targets accordingly.
  • Excellent personal skills that will create, develop and foster relationships at customer and with teams.
  • Ability to work in a team-oriented environment with multiple changing priorities. Eligible to work full time in Ireland
  • Previous experience in semi-conductor or in a clean room Manufacturing setting would be a distinct advantage
  • Knowledge of GMP requirements
  • Strong manual dexterity skills and the ability to stand, stoop, walk and reach for the duration of a 12 hour shift (breaks excluded)
  • Verbal and written English
  • Eligible to work full time in Ireland
  • Good reasoning and numerate ability skills
  • Knowledge and understanding of computer applications (MS Office)
