We’re Hiring an Operations Manager

Westerwood Global provides service solutions ranging from entry–level to experienced personnel, within high tech manufacturing facilities. We are a trusted partner for the world’s leading semiconductor companies and are looking for an Operations Manager to join our team.

The person for the job

  • You have proven leadership experience as an Manager or in a similar role
  • A strong team player with ability to work well within a diverse team
  • Have excellent organisational, time keeping, and communication skills
  • Ability to adapt to different tasks and to prioritise activities
  • You are looking for a new challenge and to develop your career


  • Level 6 Management qualification desired but not essential
  • Experience working within a high-volume manufacturing environment or similar industry
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Ability to work a regular working week (Monday - Friday)
  • Ability to work in a controlled cleanroom environment, which will involve the wearing of a gown and relevant personal protective equipment

What you will be doing

  • Develop and maintain excellent working relationships with customers and Westerwood Global management & staff
  • Develop business with customers, understanding customer needs and requirements and meet customer commitments
  • Commercial responsibility for successful client accounts
  • Reporting and feedback to all relevant stakeholders
  • Responsibility for customer proposals and quotations to develop new and maintain existing business
  • Supporting the employee recruitment process
  • Directly interface with all employees across multiple sites
  • Cost reduction programs and process improvements
  • Flexibility in working hours and an ability to undertake international travel is an essential requirement for this role
  • Manage & report on internal and external KPI’s and headcount, formulate corrective actions plans and drive the success of business are maintained
  • Ensuring safety and quality standards are maintained
  • Supporting the employee recruitment process when required
