Purpose of the role

As an Installation Cabling Technician, you will be supporting the Customer in key areas throughout the manufacturing process. Your goal will be to adhere to facility standard operating procedures with a focus on safety and quality. Your success will contribute to the facilities overall throughput while simultaneously developing your own skills in a coveted and highly technical industry.

Role requirements

  •  A technical qualification (NFQ Level 6 or higher) is preferred but not essential
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft office
  • Ability to work at heights and confined spaces for periods of time
  • Ability to troubleshoot basic electrical issues
  • Ability to work a 40 hour regular working week (Monday-Friday) or Shift Pattern schedules if required
  • Ability to wear PPE in a Cleanroom environment
  • 100% compliance with all safety and protocol specs and regulations

What you will be doing 

  • Initial equipment auditing and inspection
  • Monitor and review equipment un-packaging and move in activities
  • Installing thermostat wiring and control equipment
  • Connection and testing of equipment sub-assemblies
  • Preparation of handover documentation for Supplier Qualification process
  • Maintaining cleanroom and company protocols
  • Ensuring safety and quality standards are maintained
  • Performing quality checks in line with process specifications
  • Using MS Office and in-house computer system as required
