Purpose of the role

As an Electrical Technician, you will perform electrical activities in a semiconductor cleanroom environment while supporting the Customer in key areas throughout the manufacturing process. Your goal will be to adhere to facility standard operating procedures with a focus on safety and quality. Your success will contribute to the facilities overall throughput while simultaneously developing your own skills in a coveted and highly technical industry.


  • Be electrically and mechanically qualified (NFQ Level 6 or higher)
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft office
  • Ability to work a regular working week (Monday – Friday)
  • Ability to work in a controlled cleanroom environment, which will involve the wearing of a gown and relevant personal protective equipment

What you will be doing

  • Coordinate activities on equipment with colleagues, clients, and other vendors
  • Supporting scheduled preventative maintenance on semiconductor manufacturing equipment
  • Supporting the Customer’s maintenance activities ensuring delivery of specified availability performance metrics
  • Maintaining cleanroom and company protocols
  • Ensuring safety and quality standards are maintained
  • Performing quality checks in line with process specifications
  • Using MS Office and in-house computer system as required
