A bit about the job
The lab technician 3 is responsible for completing analytical requests in the client metrology lab through collecting electron microscopy samples and validating analytical data. This position requires using client software, manual and automated tools. Technician is expected to work in a fast-paced environment in partnership with client team members. The lab technician 3 is responsible for completing analytical requests in the client metrology lab through collecting electron microscopy samples and validating analytical data. This position requires using client software, manual and automated tools. Technician is expected to work in a fast-paced environment in partnership with client team members. This will be a 6-9 month contract with possible Fulltime conversion with client.
A bit about you
- You will operate metrology tools including TEM, SEM, Focused Ion Beam and additional lab equipment
- You will perform tests and sampling to include setup and operation of metrology equipment
- You will utilize client software to perform tasks, complete experiments and sample analysis
- You will provide reports and results of sampling and experiments
- You will perform PM, troubleshooting and minor maintenance of lab equipment
- You will change/adjust software parameters for differing experiments
- You will assist in creating/editing specifications and training materials
- You will also support cross-functional teams in daily projects as required
Requirements:
- Familiarity with 300MM wafer fab environment and industry equipment
- Basic microscope troubleshooting skills
- May work in a controlled cleanroom environment, which will involve the wearing of a gown and relevant personal protective equipment
- Minimum of 3-5 years of Semiconductor lab/metrology experience or equivalent comination of education and experience
- Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills
Preferred:
- TEM, FIB/SEM and Die Prep Skills
- Semiconductor Experience
- Direct experience troubleshooting lab equipment in a Semiconductor setting
