**This position is a contracted position at 6 months with the potential opportunity to be placed on a permanent position at the end of the contract.

The successful candidate must be able to:

  • Pass a background check & drug screen 
  • Have good understanding of relationships between equipment factors and process outputs
  • Working knowledge of FABGUARD and implementation of FDC to control equipment/processes
  • Competent in troubleshooting problems and capable of applying logic to identify and technical skills to understand actions needed to implement/verify the repair
  • Ability to deal with multiple issues and shifting priorities

The principal duties and responsibilities will be:

  • Lead troubleshooting efforts, manage critical part inventory, direct supplier activities, responsive to SPC/ FDC excursions, writing specifications, training maintenance techs…Forming/executing plans for continuous improvements, implementing hardware/software upgrades, developing preventative actions.SPC/ FDC excursions (Using Inficon or Similar product) Expanding – increasing tool capabilities/throughput/availability, determining new sourcing for parts/service/toolsets, installation/qualification of new equipment/components.
  • Installing sensors to provide new signal outputs for monitoring
  • Ability to interact professionally with manufacturing and process engineering in order to effectively understand problems and efficiently resolve them
  • Ability to generate, analyze, and interpret equipment performance data and produce a timely action plan to resolve recurring equipment failures
  • Installing sensors to provide new signal outputs for monitoring

Suitable candidates are:

  • Must be confident in a training style atmosphere
  • Must have the ability to work under their own direction or as part of a team
  • Must be able to communicate clearly and concisely both orally and by written means and contribute to team-based forums and meetings
  • Will be computer literate and able to use basic software packages and have the ability to learn client-specific tools
  • Must be able to work in confined spaces, climb ladders, lift/carry a minimum of 50 lbs and be able to bend/kneel for extended periods of time, while wearing all appropriate PPE
