WG walked the floor at SemiCon Europa in Dresden last week - the semiconductor industry's flapship event in Europe.

We attended the Fab Manager's Forum, along with Manufacturing and Operations Managers from leading European fabs.  Presentations were given by Qualcomm, ST Microelectronics, Infineon, GLOBALFOUNDRIES and Robert Bosch, with a panel session to wrap-up the meeting.

A particular focus of this year's exhibit was the supply of re-furbished semiconductor equipment - fabs are now looking to source used 300mm equipment, which is in short supply.
